Legacy FDA category C. Avoid in the first trimester; programme deworming is usually deferred until the second trimester.
Single doses are considered compatible.
Clinical notes
Deworming doses are age-based, not weight-based. Tissue infections (neurocysticercosis, hydatid disease) need specialist regimens.
